Baptism
For Infants and children to the age of 6 contact Cary Ann Nunn at 713 864 2653 ext 219 cary@allsaints.ws or Lupe Padilla 713 8642653 ext 217 lupe@allsaints.ws

Children at the age of 7 and older must be enrolled in religious education for their preparation for Baptism and First Communion. Contact Dan (ext. 205) or Irene (202) or see religious education or First Communion for more details.

First Penance and First Holy Communion
Adults seeking first confession or first communion may join the RCIA program for preparation. See Religious Formation Link. These sacraments require the completion of one year of religious education prior to entering the program. A child may do this pre-year beginning with first grade. There are two cycles of first confession/communion preparation. Those students who completed a full year begin in a fall cycle. Students who finish catechesis successfully in the spring may join the Spring cycle which finishes in July or wait until the following fall. There are programs for all grade levels of children beginning with second grade. Older students are placed in their age groups. Programs are in English or Spanish. See religious formation link for more on schedules and locations of classes.

Confirmation
Adult confirmation (18 year olds and older) is prepared in the RCIA program (see link) or in a special program upon request. It is usually celebrated at Pentecost but can be with the RCIA which begins in the fall with open enrollment.

Adolescents, between the ages of 13 to 17, join the religious education program (see link). The program has four semesters of faith formation, retreats, other youth events and a final 12 week intensive before the January confirmation with the Bishop. Youth may enter the program in the September following their 13th birthday. Generally the youth will be at the age of 15 or older when confirmed.

Confirmation age youth who have not completed baptism, first confession and first communion will be prepared for these sacraments in the course of the confirmation program. Confirmation and the other sacraments do not have to be completed prior to a 15th Blessing by a youth. However, the youth must be in the religious education faith formation program to request the blessing.See religious formation link for more details on schedules and locations of classes.
